2017 marked a special anniversary for a very special member of our staff. It’s hard for us to believe, but Kelly Hebert, our Client Operations Specialist, has been with us for 20 years! Twenty years of employment with a single small business in today's world is rare. What's also rare – but not to Kelly – is her total commitment to making sure our clients are well taken care of and that our office is running smoothly.
Kelly began her work with Chris, 20 years ago, at John Hancock, when Chris was only five years into the financial advisory business. Since then, she has been with us through the transition to LPL Financial in 1999, the bear market of 2000, the September 11 attacks, Hurricane Katrina, and the 2008-2009 financial crisis. She was here when Chris and Andy founded Pontchartrain Investment Management in 2009, when we moved into our Olde Towne Slidell office in 2010, when Steve, Mike, and Robin came on board in 2012 as advisors, and when Roxanne and Dan joined our staff. That's a lot of change for a small firm, and even one of those events could be tough to handle. Kelly, however, helped us through all of them, and without her, our success as a firm would not have been possible.
Most of our clients don’t know that Kelly commutes from her home in Metairie to our Slidell office several days each week, which demonstrates her complete commitment to our clients and our team. We really must have done some great things in our lives to deserve Kelly.
Despite her full-time schedule with us, Kelly also finds time to be a great wife and mother. She is happily married to Jay, and they have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Corinne and Candace. We are grateful to Jay and the girls for sharing Kelly with us.
If you’ve had the pleasure of working with Kelly, you probably know this already, but for those of you who don't, just remember this: do what Kelly tells you to do, and nobody will get hurt!
THANK YOU, KELLY, FOR SHARING 20 YEARS WITH US AND OUR CLIENTS!
Kelly graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Communication and Office Systems. Along with her husband and two daughters, they are very active parishioners in St. Edward the Confessor parish.
